my experience with trokar hooks so far has been offset shank 1/0 hooks and they have worked great. no fish have shook them yet.

I have been using those trebles for two or three years with great success. I cant wait for the trokar trebles to come out though.

FWIW, I would not call the river low by any means. It is prime for fishing right now. You will cover more water than you think you will. The buffalo will go half a mile with water that is 2ft deep and a bottom of slab limestone, then there might be a hole a half mile long that is 10ft deep. Obviously you will be skipping the 2ft deep section. I would float from hwy 14 bridge to rush.

it was a great weigh-in, and I bet they will be back next year. Everyone in the tourny kept saying how awesome the lake was, and gerald swindle sounded like a commercial for tourism saying that if he was wanting a place to come stay and go fishing Bull Shoals is the place to do it.

Some were up near powersite. The weigh-in today was awesome, even though no one could catch brandon, he only needed 1lb and change to win.
