There is that rolled ice cream place in the loop. Forget the name...girls loved it, fru, fru, and about $7-8 bucks a cup...is delicious though. Cant really name a favorite restaurant anymore. Hardly go out. Edgewild, and Walnut Grill are popular with my Westco restaurant owners. So many new spots....

Olive & Oak in Webster is nice, so is the Block, & Sushi Station. Robust good for a cocktail. Living in the WG  bubble. Everyone is nice, and all is above average.

Oh no, another WG elitist. Lived there most of my life before moving to LOZ last year. Olive and Oak is highly recommended and is operated by a family friend.

All right I have to mention the White Barn, up here, in Castle Point (Chambers west of Lewis and Clark).  It is owned by my cousin and they have the best hamburger there is.  And the Polish sausage is from Piekutowski's.

I didn’t know either of those places were still open. Maybe the world isn’t going to hell in a hand bag.

Used to love Piekutowski's Kielbasa. I'm surprised to hear they're still going. Did they relocate from the north side?

No they are still there.  The claim-to-fame is that when Pope John Paul (the Polish Pope) visited St. Louis he went there.

Didn't even know some of these places existed, have to make a list and check them out.

Not sure why I was stuck on Italian perviously?

Our favorite stops, especially when the weather is nice, is Bob's Drive In in Imperial and Concord Grill in Concord since they both have outdoor dining. Bob's is a great place for a burgers, onion rings, BLT or ice cream and only has outdoor dining. Concord Grill has a variety of American eats with in or outdoor dining. Another we frequent is Syberg's, my only gripe about them is their pricing, somehow it seems like we end up spending $75 for 3 people to eat lunch.

Most others we liked either closed up our are in the city limits, in which I steer clear from now days.  Old favorites are Uncle Bills off of Kingshighway and Hodak's off Gravois, we loved Cafe Affton Sports Bar & Grill but it is now closed.
