Brian K. Shaffer Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 If so - that fish is dead now. Lactic acid buildup on a fish with that much extra weight would make for a fish no more. I hope that it some kinda fluke thing instead. Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
fishinwrench Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 That fish....either gulped a belly full of water during the battle, or it needs to poop, soon !
Randall Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 May I have a drink of your tasty beverage to wash this down? I see the McDonalds cup... you fed it a quarter pounder didn't you? Now what do they call those things in France? Cute animals taste better.
Ham Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 I wonder if that fish didn't have a tumor. In-fisherman has shown photos of pike (and stuff) that were grossly distended like that and it was a result of a tumor. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

I've become grossly distended myself in the last year or so, I think I might have a tumor too
