eric1978 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Wrong and wrong, and it's got nothing to do with nothing anyway. As near as I can tell that has no relevence to this topic. Since you guys seem to have touble with a slightly cryptic remark, I'll make it easier to understand... You can get away with anything in this country if you're rich and well-connected, but if you're an average Joe, you can't have a doobie without facing a firing squad. It's totally relevant, and it's got everything to do with everything. Compare the damage Goldman Sachs and BP has caused in the last couple years, and the number of lives adversely affected, to that of Camp Zoe...now compare the consequences. Something seems a tad askew, no? What's the variable? Money. It's big picture kinda stuff...try to keep up.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs and BP continue to report record profits...wake up, man. I'm having trouble with this one? Can't seem to get the hang of it. Lets see, BP screws up and it cost them a fortune, but you still get gas if you pay for it and at the market price. Goldman Sachs screws up and they get a fortune from us, and we didn't even get a kiss.?????? And shouldn't GM be included in that list? Their mismanagement combined with a greedy union leadership cost stockholders their investment, and all we get is more Chevys. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Smalliebigs Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Comparing me wade-fishing in questionable waters with someone condoning the use and sale of hard drugs on his property is a ridiculous comparison. It is not even worth arguing. (and I don't have a Sage rod) If I hear of the feds taking people's land away that are unaware of drug activity on their property, and do not condone/promote it, then I'll be all up in arms as well. As of now, I haven't ever heard of that happening. Not even once. We are talking about really hard drugs that can easily ruin people's lives. And people more than likely being introduced to those things at these events. Downplay it all you want, but that is the situation here. I'm just messing with ya Ozark....It's just you said my boy E is full of it so, that rubbed me the wrong way. It's to bad about that Sage thing I really love mine, like old friends, I just wish I got to see those friends more often.

And I know it rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Ness ain't the only one. Pick an adjective and go with it. You said it wasn't relevant, so I explained its relevance. What, you're upset with the "try to keep up" remark? I was just tossing back some playful banter in response to your telling me I'm "full of it," as you so diplomatically put it. And before the next time you go firing off judgments about me, you should learn the difference between conviction and conceit. By the way, I find the label of "conceited" especially ironic and amusing coming from the guy who tells people where they can or can't fish when the water gets warm according to YOUR temperature requirements, or how long they're allowed to fish a particular hole so they won't be in YOUR way, or whether or not they're allowed to throw rocks in a river and snag suckers since it might interfere with YOUR day...shall I go on? So sensitive around here....
