The tow guy doesn't even hook up to it. And even if he did.....where is he towing it to ?
jdmidwest Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Funny you bring that up, the west side was not posted well and the east side looked very well used and partied upon two weeks ago when I was up driving around looking at places I used to fish 30 years ago. There is a cable across the stream about 100yds below the bridge. In my county, I can't press trespass charges for a game cam pic clearly showing a vehicle and license plate with a driver, .3 mile down a private lane past 2 clear "No Trespassing" signs approaching a dead end at a home. My response, no law against driving down a road??? But, I can shoot them if I feel my life is in danger and need to protect myself, property, or family. The riverine land owner essentially pays more per usable acre than a ridge top landowner. And the government often restricts all use of that underwater land, but they don't reduce the tax load when they restrict access to or use of it. Not as often as you probably think. I know for a fact that who owns what, and where property lines are around HERE is almost always a nightmarish ordeal. I can only imagine what it's like out the middle of nowhere 200 yards from the nearest road on some heavily wooded mediocre sized stream.
tjm Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I've seen them load 'abandoned' cars at the nearby creek more than once, took them "away". But, I knew a guy in a far away time that had a grudge against a guy and he called a tow truck to pick up his "broken down" car and haul it to a repair shop. Gave the tag number and said he had to be some place else. that car was hauled too.
