Does this thread have to go four pages before I can claim my epic troll patch, or can I go ahead and get that sent to me now?

I would say 100 posts is a good baseline for troll patch ... too bad both of us lost it by posting ...

I'm a "conservative" and what you apparently think is gospel isn't. Most conservatives I know are also smart enough to know that the climate cycles. We are also smart enough to know that Gore is getting so rich preaching his man made crisis as he chooses to keep flying his big belching jet all over tha planet. I know that East Anglica admitted they fudged the figures, because some were "lost" and apparently only available for a short time. We are also open minded enough to question why a proffesor in CA would try and discredit a non-profit non-believer if the facts were solid.

Maybe, just maybe, some of us think that if we had the blown 500 million back from the Solyndra fiasco we could apply that to something like insuring that are food supply weathers the change, rather than our night lights. Maybe some of us do accept climate change, but just don't believe man is as important as he wants to believe. The main stream idea that is insisted on is that man is the biggest reason for climate change, I happen to believe he is probably the least important, well except to the entrepreneurs looking for easy money and the East Anglica followers.

No we're aren't stupid, just practical, and we know the earth hasn't always had the climate it has had today or has science been able to peer into periods as short as the one in question.

With a family of farmers and being around farmers I do not think this issue has to do one bit with Politics ( unless you are a politician and it lines your pockets ) Like gramps said. The good lord makes some years bountiful and other years someone made his wife Mother Nature mad and we all suffered because< if momma aint happy aint no one happy>.

Funny gramps and the farmers almanac were pretty much right on all the years I can remember...

I guess I'll avoid getting mired in all the political opinion horseshiz, and interject two interesting FACTS. I know you all have brilliant ways of dismissing scientific data, since after all, you have an opinion, based solely on what you choose to believe.

Let me know if you need to borrow my glasses...it's pretty clear from where I sit.

everyone just remember to get lots of pictures of snow so your great great grandkids will know what it is

Well, I'd say that post sums this up pretty well.

It's always nice when an infinitely complex problem can be summed up in a neat little graph for us simpletons!

The neat little graph simply illustrates that the problem may not actually be infinitely complex. It shows an obvious correlation between CO2 emissions and temperature. That doesn't mean the solution isn't complex, but the first step in finding a solution is admitting there's a problem.

Complex? LOL

I'd say this is anything but complex. The scientific evidence is very clear, and easily available, that CO2 emissions and temperature increases are highly correlated. If people choose to think that this happens to be a coincidence then it's difficult to move forward with this discussion.

Ridiculous. There are no fudged figures in any of the climate reports and when the rare error is found (such as 2 of the 82 glaciers currently being monitored all over the globe) it is corrected.

You twist the science to suit your ends and then try to smear Al Gore and whoever isn't convenient to your view of how you'd prefer things to be.

There aren't many nice ways to frame the moral failures on the denial side. "Ridiculous" will have to do for now.
