Members kbbgood Posted June 5, 2012 Members Posted June 5, 2012 I'm wondering if the laws in Missouri is for real. Was just at Montauk and guys all over the place still wairing felt sole boots. I just went and got myself a new pair at 159.00 that I couldn't afford and then to see that kind of p!@#@d me off. We then sent over to the trout water out side of the park for a while and watched more then one guy walking out with a full stringer off bait caught fish. And all of the small. Now I live in the National Forest area out side of Steelville and at deer season it is like the deertona 500 by my place. Guns sticking out of every window. My wife and my granddaughter up in a stand leagle on private land just up the road from our place and they are stoppin and shooting in the field at our decoy right in front of them 100 yards. Where are the wardens??? Are they for real??? I've told them at Rolla office and it makes no difference. Nothing has changed.
eric1978 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 deertona 500 LOL As far as the agents...people are always screaming for budget cuts. They got 'em. Lots of acres to patrol and not that many agents.
Feathers and Fins Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 deertona 500 Best one so far this year... Sad truth is few agents and to many miles to patrol. This is when a Video Recorder showing the violation and as well as the license plate of the violators could start paying off to people. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
awhuber Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Has anyone gotten a felt ticket this year? We have 2 Conseveration agents in Dent Co. tho 1 is usually baby sitting elk on a regular basis. He has 2 in Crawford Co. i think the op called US forest service in Rolla to complain they wont give a rip about his private property. He needs to call the Stl office of MDC for Crawford Co. and the west Plains office for Dent Co.
Feathers and Fins Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Awe thats where they are... All patroling the elk area for escaped elk to shoot. If the elk leave the reservation they must shoot them. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

No, I think they have to leave the state first. laker67 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Has anyone gotten a felt ticket this year? According to Ed at Larry's sporting goods. They are writing tickets for felt at bssp. 95.00 plus court cost.
jdmidwest Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 According to Ed at Larry's sporting goods. They are writing tickets for felt at bssp. 95.00 plus court cost. Woof, that is kinda steep. Looks like they may be able to fund a few more agents. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
fishinwrench Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I notice no shortage. I get creel checked just as often now as I did 10, 20, and 25 years ago.
KCRIVERRAT Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 The real question in all of this is why anyone would be wearing wading boots (felt or otherwise) in June??? Guess you haven't heard that MDC enlisted the help of Dr. Shoal who claims stinky feet is the cause of dydimo. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
