fishinwrench Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 You are "encouraged" to have a wearable PFD in a canoe, but it isn't "required". Same for motorboats under 16ft. And a big THANK YOU to Lowe for making their 16' jons actually measure 15'10"

jdmidwest Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Arkansas requires a PFD in canoes and kayaks. It is not required to wear one, just have one accessible. Stored in a dry hatch does not count, I keep mine on the deck with deck rigging. That is only if they are picking hairs for details.
