Did anyone else watch LSU dominate Washington? It was a LOT of fun for this LSU fan. Coach Miles typically won't run the score up on anybody see the Ole Miss game last year.

Arkansas has some serious problems. They should be able to keep ULM from beating up their QB. Alabama and LSU will abuse their QB if they don't fix that AND their defense must learn to stop somebody. I'll be watching the scoreboard this weekend. DOn't count on Satan I mean Saban calling his big dogz off the hogz.

MIzzou and Texas A&M are going to take a while to really compete. They'll get there though.

You mad bro?

If your team lost to Arkansas State, the other sun belt team from this state, you might be mad too.

Im just a rabid hogfan, nothing personal.

That said, LSU looks as good as advertised.

With losses from Arkansas and Auburn, the west has weakened in the middle.

I think the SEC East has leveled the playing field this year, and could make a run at the SECCG.

Georgia, Tenn, and SC looked good.

I think SEC football should use the basketball template and do away with divisions.

Take the best 4 teams in a playoff, the winner of that could play for the NCG.

I would love to see some of the schedule BS go away, but I'm not sure the powers that be will change the EAST VS WEST thing. It sucks though that some teams don't have to play the big dogs to get to the SEC Championship game.

Arkansas would have loved to have had Geoegia's schedule last year.

I thought Missouri played well overall against Georgia. But after that game and now ASU, the fourth quarter is quickly becoming a huge problem for us. I think it's a depth issue...we're just getting worn out, particularly on defense. South Carolina will be an extremely difficult game. If Franklin's ready to go we could potentially play them tight. If not, considering our offensive line issues (largely due to injury) and South Carolina's scary defense, it's likely to get very ugly very quickly. Berkstresser looked solid against Arizona State-but a redshirt freshman against one of the top SEC defenses, on the road no less, probably wouldn't bode well.

I feel like Missouri's season hinges on James Franklin's health. 7 wins and a solid overall first season is still very much in the cards if he's in the fold. If not we might be looking at 4-6 wins. I think Gary Pinkel will get us to the point where we can win a lot of games in this league, but I don't think we can run with the top-flight teams for four quarters yet. Getting bowl eligible should be the goal, in my opinion.

After the last two weeks I am not sure what to think about Mizzou.

We are not executing on offense very well at all.

Defense is wearing down in the 4th quarter

We gotta get the field goal kicker straigthened out...he is god awful from the left hash.

Winnning with the back up quarter back is always a good thing, but Pinkel wasn't exactly happy with Franklin not playing...that was obvious.

Poor snaps are stil haunting us...there is no excuse for that.

We need to take some shots downfield...we are not spreading out the spread offense very much at all

We seem a bit jumpy and nervous the last two games. Maybe it is the excitement and pressure from changing conferances, but we need to at least act like we have been there before.

We need better coaching as well. No more 4th and 11 fake punts.

That being said Georgia and ASU are not cupcakes.

Bama is gonna beat us by 50.

So I don't know what to think...

I just hope all of this talk about replacing James Franklin doesn't go anywhere. I'm excited about Corbin Berkstresser as our QB a couple years from now, but right now Franklin appears to be a rising star...yet there are rumors about putting him on the bench permanently after his decision not to plan against Arizona State. I really think we need an experienced, dual threat quarterback like Franklin to be able to go into places like South Carolina or the Swamp and be competitive. Even if Berkstresser ended up being really good, putting the offense in the hands of a redshirt freshman during our first year through the SEC just isn't likely to work out for anyone.

I think someone here said Franklin was a Hiesman canidate......lol

Bet he's still got a better chance of winning the Heisman than he does of becoming a pharmaceutical medicine major... :secret-laugh:
