the white is a very dangerous river. I dont figure my jet will push the new boat much more than 5mph faster than my 9.9 so maybe I wont tear it up

ive never seen a ranger or game warden while fishing in the past 3 years, however I only run a 9.9 on the buffalo.

Ham, have you had any hard hits with the fiberglass boat? I am sort of scared of hitting one with my new js boat.

Thanks for the insight, I would love to run my jet up the Buffalo, but the ranger gave me a warning ticket, a little above razorback... So I bought a longshaft 9.9 to run.

Have had numerous warnings, if you are NOT drunk, pleasant and honestly stupid, he will give you a break (forest service and park ranger not Arkansas game and ticket everyone)

I've been checked twice on the Buffalo by NPS folks. I was completely within the law and had all my documents in order. neither experience was unpleasant.

I'd love to take my jet up the Buffalo, but don't.

I guess since I fish on mondays I hardly have a problem.

how do you like it, i have only seen 1 of them & it was on the white last summer, i bet it was u.. lol looked like a nice boat.. it was white w/ red if i remember right.. just above narrow shoals in july. thats the only js i have ever seen here.. i'd like to find out were there molds went , i'd like a shot river boat biz.. i tryed to call & left a message for old owenr & sent email but have never gotten a responce..

i'd like a topwater, but man are they spendy... they are super nice & fit & finish is the best i have ever seen! quaility is top notch, i have looked at a 4 or 5 now & they are super slick boats.

u decided on that upgrade yet? i am like u, i am torn, i have a 79 merc, runs great & is really good on fuel for an old 2 stroke.. but i worry with mine that parts are so rare that i may not have a choice... i keep hearing talk of a ban on 2 strokes on the river but i have not found any real info on it, i think its just folks stir'n the pot.
