rps Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Boy, that is a hell of a lot of fillets! I am guess you are well over your possession limit. Actually, I try very hard to not exceed the regulations. When Nancy and I are the only consumers and the fish are 3 to 6 pounds, it is difficult to keep up. Such a horrible problem. On the other hand, having fillets to bring to a gathering is ... cool. CGB: You do love to stir the pot.
Chief Grey Bear Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Just razzing that you had 2,012 fillets. I meant to add the smilely but forgot. I also forgot to put an ing on guess too. Champ188 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Is it ok for me to bring 2012 walleye fillets? I want to "move" them before I start catching 2013 fish. I will bring a salsa. Yay, rps is bringing Walter! He's always a hit around hot grease. Seriously, Donna and I plan to be there. Like Bill, I will bring the Ranger and will have an assortment of tackle for anyone interested in discussing some of the tactics that I find effective on Table Rock and beyond. Look forward to putting some faces with some names and making some new friends.
Feathers and Fins Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I was thinking of coming over for a bit but with the weather forecast for the weekend it might not be possible ice/snow but maybe. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Diamond City Fisher Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Hi Phil, My wife Sandy and I had planned to be at the fish fry, but a situation has popped up that we must take care of out of town this weekend. Please remove us from the list. We sure hate to miss the get together. Next time for sure. Roger Burch
abkeenan Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Would like to have made it down for this but the weather is looking a little iffy and would rather use my days off on some weather that isn't going to be in the 30's and low 40's. Will be down in about 2 1/2 weeks for sure though. Would still like to go to another outing of OAF members like a golf outing or another picnic/fish fry type of event maybe this summer or fall or something. I hope to see a lot of pics from this event since I won't be there. Kudos to Phil for putting this together and trying to make this online community even better than it already is.

tho1mas Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I will be there with a big batch of home made Hodson Mill hush puppies to cook up.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 20, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted March 20, 2013 I've gotten a few emails... and I'm sure everyone is looking at the weather. At this point, I don't want to reschedule this event --- yet. The one nice thing about this board, email and the internet is that everyone knows about this event from posting and emailing here so everyone should get a last minute cancellation if we decide the weather is going to be just too bad to have this. SO... I think I'll say right now that we will make this call on noon Friday. That should give everyone proper notice and be able to change their plans. But at this point, at least for me, I can't say WHEN I could do another weekend unless we wait till May. We'll see...
