Jerry Rapp Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I said to heck with it and got 4, 16 ouncers, different flavors of course. When I get done with them later tonight, I will drive down the country road and throw all of the cups out the window. Better in a ditch than a land fill. It used to be you got a drink in a bottle and turned it back in for 2 cents to be re-used. I guess that didn't work.
Jerry Rapp Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 gee whiz, a March snow. A late season snow storm is now forecasted for extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks starting Thursday and continuing into Thursday night. Heavy snow is very likely in some portions of the Ozarks. Stay tuned. I remember, never mind......................
Chief Grey Bear Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 and last year at this time when we were talking about bass going on beds so early because of the big warm up all we saw were co2 graphs, temp max graphs, etc. Now we have been stuck in the deep freeze basically for 45 days and the Climate Change b.s. comes up. Use some common sense and try to think for yourself. I am off to get a 32 oz big gulp. What deep freeze?? stlfisher Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Last March the temperature anomaly was +20. This march it is -2. Deep freezes are now classified for average winter temperatures. And yes it is still technically winter. So yeah, lets compare the two Marches...
Smalliebigs Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I thought this was about Geoengineering???? jet contrails???? do any of you actually think for a second that people on this forum read your OPINIONS on Global warming or Climate change and say holy dung this dude on this fishing forum said so......it must be true.......trust me this legend in his or her own mind on fishing is really smart.........give me a break..... get over yourselves and go out to a river somewhere and go fishing
stlfisher Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 But If it is on the internet it must be true. After all it was invented by Al gore. I joke I joke...
Jerry Rapp Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 6 to 10 day temp forecast just issued. This will wind up being a very cold March. And by the way, the NWS departures from normal are about -4 thus far this month, and it will go lower. By Friday the will be -20 belw normal.
Tim Smith Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I like how AGW alarmist are always picking out local events to show the imagined impacts of AGW, but tell us we're taking it out of context when we do the same about cooler or wetter than normal areas. The fire on Poudre is part of a 25+ year trend. http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/climate-fire.html Jerry's little cold snap in March is a minor outlier in a trend of rising global temperatures well past a century old. I like how deniers keep comparing things that aren't comparable.
