What's Up With The Loud Noise And Big Lights All Night In Clevenger?

I snagged a big carp in the belly on a c-rig yesterday, guess they missed at least one! Also had me excited for a few seconds before I realized it was way to big to be the species I was after.

Sore Thumbs might have an idea provided there is adequate lodging in that area.

Actually there are places on TR that are less inhabited, but BP doesn't own a resort in those sections. I suspect that the world won't end if they come back and do it all over next year.

I think it's all about promoting bow fishing because Jon Paul is a big fan. There's nothing wrong with it, but they didn't change the biology of the lake and in the end that's a good thing.

The people who complain need to remember that the lake also has a secondary goal in providing recreation, and not just theirs.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Eventually TR will be another LO, and this is a fine way to start getting acclimated :)

Now that's funny.

Lots of these guys ran for a week, prior to their derby. I even saw some bass fishing from the Airboats during the day. Yes it was loud and I have a home just across from Big Cedar, but really it should not have been that big of a deal with the complaining. I did get up one nite at the first of last week, thinking my HAV unit had gone haywire until I saw all the lights on the lake. I think that 30 mph after sunset deal was also waved as these boys just flew across the water. No biggie.

Wrench, the no dock deal and the no bars on the water are perhaps goan save us here, but thanks for thinking of us.

Can you have trams, or a ramp and boat house on the banks of TR?

If I ever have lakefront property again I'm going that route in lieu of a dock. Maintaining a dock is a freakin' nightmare. Never again!

No docks and no bars may slow the process but bigger, faster, louder and more congestion is inevitable.

I haven’t posted in a while, can’t find my old login....... but this issue is one I have fought before..... Industrialized bow fishing

In some states it’s the “new” gill net…..Alligator gar have been almost fished out in areas, so much so states have protected alligator gar..you can make a good living selling fish, more than enough to spend the kinda bucks to have a fan boat.

Like it or not some of us like catching big carp. Promoting waisting fish is never a good thing, back in the day we had a 25 pounds plus one fish rule….now limited on ALL carp,,,,the filter feeding bighead and silvers do need to be harvested but buffalo are native, and the german carp been with us since the 1880’s,

This issue is not as simple, as kill lots of carp make more other fish…not so fast on that one

Im gonna post some things and want feed back

Also need to get with an admin on how to get logged back in

“nothing seems to work” and its been a while
