Rough Start

Been on the Rock for two days now. Lots of short K's and Browns, it's been tough.

Thrown the kitchen sink at em and have yet to nail it down.

Only 2 large mouth. But they looked like this -

After a very rough morning with me on the same pattern I caught the big gal on two days ago and lots of keepers, we struggled, to get bit. Boys suffered thru a boat break down and me putting them out an hour early.

They found them an afternoon pattern that no one else and I mean no body else is doing and caught those nice fish. Hope if continues for them. They may have taught several of us old dogs a lesson if it continues for them. I'm praying it does and they have put another bullet in my arsenal.

Outside of those two fish we really haven't had much action. This morning was miserable - 2 keeps between 3 boats in 5 hours. Did get a couple short K's on a spook, that was fun.

Seems the afternoon bite is much much better.

That is what I found also, afternoon-evening bite was better than morning. Also better find a little wind on a bank or point or its going to be a lot of jerking with no happy ending.
