Nice one! Where do these bass get released? Not that I'm asking that for information as to where to fish for them, but I'm hoping they dispersed throughout the lake rather than released at the weigh-in site.

I talked to Ken and what a nice guy - I was also there when he weighed in. He was telling me that he doesn't think he will be able to sleep tonight because of all of the excitement.

I did notice that the Bass being weighed were getting smaller as the day went on and they were bunching up around the 3lb - 3.5 lb range.

And if you have a chance I would recommend going over to Long creek - the Oakley guys are a great bunch...and no they didn't promise me a pole or anything like that for saying anything....butI would take one :]

So are you saying they are concentrating on Long creek? That would be a surprise, although it's my favorite area it generally doesn't produce as well as other areas. I think Martin worked it in a tournament, but he was targeting smallies.

Hope you guys are giving polygraphs. One of your hourly winners yesterday is embroiled in an ongoing controversy down at Beaver Lake, which escalated a week ago when he and his partner won the annual Buddy Bass for the umpteenth time. See related post on the Beaver Lake forum here on Ozark Anglers. It will be interesting to see if either of them show up in your weigh-in line again today.

James, we polygraph both days in our events. Not sure what you're referring to and not going to get into any kind of speculation. Our rules are clear related to what prevents someone from entering or events or what would cause someone to be removed from our events. There were no failed exams yesterday and no issues.
