Just curious as to how they would/could enforce that? Not saying I disagree, just wondering how?

And just why are you so interested in this? Hmmmmmmmmmm?????? :D

I am not a tournament fisherman. I'm not so sure I even if the whole idea does not do more harm than good.. I do wonder however what defines cheating. The thing I'm thinking about is hidden brush piles and that sort of thing. Around these parts people can get pretty inventive with that. I Know of some that that will drag brush and other things under selected docks to hide it. And believe me it is hid that way. Then they leave it go and do not fish it. In doing so they have gained a advantage in a tournament. That is something that boarders on cheating to me.

Placing brush piles and cheating should never even be mentioned in the same sentence. I've NEVER read a rule against placing brush, other than lakes that have restrictions about placing them. You might not like anglers placing brush but in no way is it cheating.

+1 with dblades. I have over the years set brush for fishing. Sometimes they are there, sometimes not. But many of my friends that fish do the same thing. I have had permits to set brush twice now. I make sure to ask the corp what is allowed and where. Oh, and for Bill I dont set them out on the long run-off points.. :secret-laugh: . I believe that if you take the time to do all the hard work involved and it helps the cause, then more power to ya. If you dont want to do it, then fine but dont cry about guys that have done it.

Well I never meant to imply I do not like brushing. I been brushing on LOZ for over 20 years and on wappapello and Clearwater before that. So I know something about brushing. I know the work it takes. I remember a time about 35 yrs ago or so when Clearwater froze and I and a few others used a tractor to pull cedars out of the woods over 20 ft tall to build crappie beds on top of the ice. Myself, I do not use cedar much around here. Like those gnarly oak tiptops when I am able to get them.
