Sounds like a bunch of dumbasses.

Truth I was on the same river one night. Decided I was too drunk to fish. Was laying in back of the Pickup. Look up say to myself them stars are sure moving fast as my Pickup rolled into the river.

Ok I was at the lake this morning ok still am looking for teal with bino when three guys just pulled up to the ramp and put the boat on the trailer Engine first. Little 16foot john boat. Now this has me left scratching my head.

Back when my dad, grandad, and I fished the middle fork of the Salt we would stop at a city park lake before we got to the river and do the same thing (flip the boat).

Once we got to the river we'd back the trailer up to the sandy bank and slide the boat down to the water nose-first. It was the only way to launch at that spot without having to remove the motor and unload the boat.

I could see that on shallow rivers/creeks but on a big lake i just scratched my head, Trailer was interesting and looks to be set-up for rear take up with a Engine rack at the nose. They had a Long wench cable and walked it down to the boat then spooled out backed the trailer in and pushed the button and the boat went right up very impressive set-up. I wish I would have gotten pictures of it and really wish i had seen them launch.
