I went in to settings and it says that it offers the following: 1) fixes bugs that could allow someone to bypass the Lock screen passcode. 2) reintroduces a Greek keyboard option for passcode entry. No thanks to either!

No thanks to either! Yes it was a free upgrade but it was created because of the the iPhone 5C and 5S. My statement was more of the general state of all technological things. Always a newer phone and iPhone 72 or Galaxy 500. Now we even have a cell phone with a 41 megapixel camera. It's all marketing and fluff that we don't need, but they have to keep pumping it out to keep their stock prices going up. Remember when the big thing was to make cell phones as small as possible? Remember the rage around the Razor phones? Now we are progressing the other way and trying to make them huge again. Pretty soon we will have phones with a 27" screen. All in the name of corporate greed.

ness Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 I'm not ready to switch yet. I like it in a lot of other ways. My work, home and phone calendars, reminders, mail and contacts all seamlessly sync. I waited a looong time to have that work easily. Probably wouldn't change just because of that, regardless of what anyone says about their method. I'm pretty sure they'll fix the issues. They can't afford to PO customers with all the other offerings out there. John
