Flysmallie Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 When we're done bashing government workers can we start in on insurance professionals? NO!
fishinwrench Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Any furloughed federal employee reading this who is concerned and actively looking for a new employer and is truly facing a tough time financially (this means you have cancelled your smart phone, hundreds of cable channels, and all your flat screen TV's, boat and spare truck are all on Craigslist) contact me and we'll talk about how soon you can start at my company. I'm always looking for people like you. Oh.....That was good!

Al Agnew Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Most bureaucracies have some fat that could be trimmed, and workers that are doing just enough to keep their jobs. But it would be interesting to see just how "non-essential" all those government employees are if the shut-down continues for a few months. Not to mention...what happens when all of them attempt to enter a private sector job market that's already suffering? It's SOOO easy to bash anybody who you think just CAN'T be as hard a worker, or as smart, or as worth what they're making, as you are, especially if you also think they're making more than you are.

lee G. Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I really think the reason so many people are upset, is the fact that so many cons are being run by politicians, and being caught in it, with the web reporting, its harder to hide than 20 years ago.
