Bigmo Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 At 8 am with no wind and water temps 54 to 55 I caught 8 in the first hour in the shallows with a mouse spinner and then someone again flipped that switch. Not a bite for the next hour. I remember a post recently about someone catching them on the end of docks with a worm so I pulled out a green pumpkin ribbon tail and fished the ends of docks in the shade and from 9 to 10:30 I caught them like they were never going to eat again. After 19 with 4 keepers someone flipped that switch also. The wind started to gust and I figured I had one last good day for a while. I'll have to look it up but thanks for the worm bite report on the shady sides of docks. Thanks to everyone who post their outings good or bad.
abkeenan Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 just curious, what is a mouse spinner? War Eagle spinner bait in Mouse color.
Champ188 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Or is he talking about this? Mouse spinner.jpg That's some funny stuff, QB.
Jerry Rapp Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 so it is a white with black flake skirt little war eagle. I thought maybe someone had designed the next Flying Lure, i.e., a field mouse with a spinner in front and a willowleaf blade on the tail, or something like that..................
Bigmo Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Abkeenan is right about the War Eagle in the mouse color. Sorry sometimes I don't think when I write. I'm sure other spinners work great but i'm partial to the mouse color. It seems to catch it's share of fish.
Ron Burgundy Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Fooled me I just knew this was going to be a walleye thread since the title was spinners and worms...ha...that's walleye talk in my world. Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford

If I had just one color on Table Rock on moving baits such as grubs, swim baits, swimmin' minnows, spinner baits and the like it would be some variant of a smoke color (which Mouse is).
