Thank you woodman. This is one of the best threads I have ever viewed. You and your trailer are the bomb!

How about some photos of the bunk area?

That is a great looking build. I am still dreaming up my design and any more ideas will be great.

So the inside is simply a bed?

I was thinking about recreating the floorplan of the old popup I am going to use. The lift system and canvas gave out years ago and the box is pretty rotten. I was thinking of the original table bed system that was in the back of the camper and moving the stove and sink to the front instead of along the side. Move the door back a little to the center.

That way, I will still have a table to sit at during the day in case of rain. The roof will be lower though. Probably have to hunch over to move around.

I am just wanting to build something quick and light to pull for an overnighter when weather would make a tent wet and uncomfortable. I don't think I would ever use an elaborate kitchen set like you have in the back. But your floorplan and camper looks great.

AC...Oh yea had to for the wife......early on I figured that in just did'n post it here........

But anyhow....The boat rack is yet to be built......

But The AC unit application is picture heavy......

What I did was find some one seling ac units on craigslist and met him to see how they worked...Well they weren't putting out cold air so...the bottom line is he gave me both of them....I took them home took them apart at blew out the coils and such with my air comp..and they work fine....I made the unit slide under the floor to line up with ducts I ran up in the galley cabinets and through the rear bulkhead "wall dividing the bed space and galley" and into the cabinet that is at the foot of the bed....The return air is under the cabinet and the exhaust is at the top of the cabinet ....I made an extension cord, and moved the controlls and thermostat inside, under that cabinet....

The build is extensively posted here:

Woodman, Is that refrigerator AC or DC?

I plan on building a teardrop to put on that property I just acquired. I am already tired of putting up the tent. I plan on making the sides bead and cove cedar to match my canoe, which will be on a rack on top, and stainless steel top.
