I think the story behind your buddy catching that thing is about as precious as the pic. Gavin Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Geez, know that's a fish! I usually fish a black or brown bear hair jig with a rabbit strip trailer in the winter...but mostly on trout water. Could look like a sculpin or just something edible. Don't know for sure, but they eat it.
