Champ188 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Information like this does not get any better. Unbelievable forum It's a great forum indeed and welcome, willyfish. Bill is our moderator and one of the very elite guides on Table Rock. He has an understanding of deep-water fishing that few ever achieve. You will learn tons from him and others here.
Bill Babler Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 Welcome Willy, glad to have you on board. How many puns are in that sentence. Boys, if you will look at those electronics pictures real close there is something there, that I'm sure most of you have not seen much. I very seldom see this type of feeding activity in this fashion. Not the numbers of feeding fish but the fashion. This for some reason has been happening more this Winter than I have ever seen it. Outside of Champ and Bo, does anyone see what happened here? Bet ya didn't know there was going to be a quiz. Lets hear what you have to say, you all have been very good at this. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
jmes Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Getting ready to head to the lake now,I'm just now learning more about reading stuff like this. But at quick glance the feeding started from the bottom and moved to all different layers in the water coloumn. Then as the bait fish was going everywhere the bass looks like they brought them back together. I always been a structure fisherman and over the last month or so I'm trying to learn how to find and fish for the suspend bass. It's definately a total different game.
Members Kenny Gann Posted December 28, 2013 Members Posted December 28, 2013 Ok I will take a stab at it. It looks like fish are attacking and maybe even herding the bait like dolphins do to sardines. Bass i have seen on my graph just suspend under the bait and wait on wounded or stragglers. Bass do attack but usually toward surface not that deep. Just my thoughts.
inshore Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 if the sequence of pictures are in order the fish attacked while the shad were on the bottom and pushed them toward the surface. I've seen this happen in salt water many times. that's what the gulls and eagles are hoping for.
Members tom bell Posted December 28, 2013 Members Posted December 28, 2013 Way to go Bill! That's my kind of fishin !
