Since it is a brutal one, and I am sitting thinking of fishing I'll post the only question I have about fishing on a day like today.

Do you think anyone braved The Rock today (in a boat) for a fishing trip?

I have not seen any boats around the Coney Island area. Looks pretty mean out there.

I would think it too dangerous. I don't see how someone could protect themselves and fish?

Not a single boat in the Clevenger to Long Creek Bridge area, including Big Cedar Hollow. Lots of steam coming off the water. What was that I said about not getting much colder. I might have missed that deal.

I remember that Bill. We were talking about the sticker fishing getting better if the water temps continue to fall. Well we may get our wish, as the surface temps are going to take a dip. Do you think this will affect the shad that are so deep in the warmer layers of water?

I'm pretty determined (or stupid) when it comes to fishing but had I not been working today, I don't believe I would have attempted to venture out.

People always say you can catch the biggest fish of your life on the coldest days. I will have to take their word for it cuz my butt isn't goin out in this. Mid 20's is my threshold. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
