LittleRedFisherman
This was sent to me from a buddy that lives about 6 miles west of me on Crowleys Ridge, which is a narrow band of hills that run through the north Delta in AR. This was taken from a friend of his Deer Cam close to his home. Not a bad pic, don't think there any denying it's a Cat! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing! Quillback
Hard to get a size perspective from that photo. But one thing to me is the tail looks too short for a cougar.

Gavin
That is a cat...but I'm thinking house, or a long tailed bobcat.
LittleRedFisherman
I'm with you on the tail, but maybe it's a distortion of size in the photo, but it looks a lot bigger than a house cat? If you look the camera is shooting through a fence row, you can see the old fence, usually those stand at least waist high or taller.. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing! Wayne SW/MO
I'm going with house cat primarily because of the ears. those aren't cougar ears. I also "think" is see stripes. If it is a big cat he certainly well fed also, those are healthy thighs for cougar. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman. Feathers and Fins
I would bet Bobcat, Size computability is hard but looks like the cat is riding low to the ground, it does appear to have a modeled appearance that lends to a Bob plus the over fluffed tail in damp conditions lead me to lean Bob I also blew up the pic and raised contrast and the ears look like they have tuffs on the ends another trait to Bobs. Cool pic. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Wayne SW/MO
I would hate for that to happen to me. They obviously aren't as foxy as people think. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
