Duck Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Just got off the phone with Little Rock Corps people, the man said they are closing Viney Campground INCLUDING the ramps. Complete shut down. We need to write and call people. In my report yesterday Craig gave the name and address of the man to contact. darn this makes me mad. Duck

There are thousands of state and municipal lakes/river put ins, etc., that have unmanned ramps. What do they plan to do, break up the concrete from the ramps and take them back to Little Rock?

And that is so freakin stupid to close the ramp. They are pouting because their Fed dollars took a hit, and they want to make sure YOU feel it. Nothing but head games. Ignore them and act like you DGAF and they'll probably stop acting like infants. If they need some money to pay the guy that cuts the grass then they can either initiate a "use fee", or slightly increase an already existing one.
