Question: why are you selling your prized Jackson Coosa, Jackson?

Follow-up question to above question: good god man, you are on your 3rd Coosa, please tell me you are not selling this so you can be on your 4th Coosa. What are you doing to the Coosa's? eating them? or outfitting a small navy of coosa-fishers? or do you have them in different colors to match your particular mood?

Finally - how much for the parasol umbrella accessory shown in picture # 2

Lol!

My mistake, I figured out that the parasol umbrella accessory was not part of the Coosa, but actually belongs to a large tropical cocktail sitting on the picnic table in the background. Still would like to know answers to first 2 questions though.

LOL! Good questions. Sounds like you've spent more time outfitting & polishing that boat than you have fishing it. Wouldn't mind having one out back with the rest. $925 is a bit steep for a used boat though..Looks like Soulard or St. Louis Hills...in my hood but gotta check my cash on hand.

How do you carry and transport one of those bad boys? It only weighs a few more pounds than my canoe, but the canoe is pretty easy to lift up on top of my car because I can get under it and walk it on holding the gunwales. I see the handles on the Coosa, but they don't look to be too helpful for getting on a car. I know I'd have to visit Yakima (yet again) and buy something different.

A Coosa is going to be my next boat and I'd love to get a used one that's in as a good a shape as this one.

I think it's a good buy for someone.

Be advised you can rent one from Justin @ Sunburst and try before you buy, but be warned once you try one, you're really gonna want to buy one.

I'd bust the road trip to St Louis to get it BUT I can not take on more debt right now.

I use the side handles on my Ocean Kayak and muscle it up above my head and set the lower edge up on the car and then stand it up from there (my car rack is a vertical style kayak carrier). But my kayak weighs about 20lbs less than a Coosa does.

Green with envy here! Wish I had the cash to splash as well, but I am out.
