96 CHAMP Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 when i go jerkbait fishing I look at it in respect as going hunting for a big buck, I am looking for 1 big bite, all the others are just a bonus, so i am never dissapointed, I allways win!! Fishing is a mind game, expect the worst and you will never be dissapointed, all you can do is benefit
96 CHAMP Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 dont know for sure but i believe the pro speed spool will, read reviews on twh
eyedabassman Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 The BB is out of my price range. I am going to hide this one from the wife and I would rather get killed for less money!
Champ188 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 You can get the Lew's TS1H for $149 all day and perhaps cheaper if you can catch it on sale. It's part of the Tournament Pro series and is one smooth little reel. Ratio is 6:4:1 on mine, I believe the also come in a 7:1 version. Hard to buy a quality reel that will throw a light bait for under $150. If you do find something that will, it will wear out in a year's time.

At that point it might be better to find an old curado 100 SF on eBay. Those and the little chronarch mg would chuck the little baits. Really, light baits and light line need spinning reels.
Members AAD Posted March 21, 2014 Members Posted March 21, 2014 I recently purchased a BB1Pro, cant wait to try it out. Retail of $199 was more than I was willing to fork out. Was able to find a deal on Ebay for $149 so i took the plunge. From what I read, I will not be disappointed. My first Lews reel, and gussing it wont me my last.
Jacob W Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That BB1 pro will flat out throw, you won't be disappointed.
