Champ188 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 OldMillRoad is correct. Official practice days are Monday-Wednesday.
Quillback Posted March 29, 2014 Author Posted March 29, 2014 Thanks - I might get out there on Tuesday and see if any of them are up in the White river channel.
Members BiteMeBaits Posted March 31, 2014 Members Posted March 31, 2014 I got the privilege to sit and share a pizza with one of the Elite guys last night. I must say, it never really sunk in just how hard these guys work. This gentleman told me he usually practices from 6am-7pm or so just trying to find a good pattern, along with traveling with his family and being a husband/father/spokesperson/role model. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love to fish, but one would have to be really dedicated and mentally strong to make this work. I guess those who can, do. And those who can't, watch it on satellite tv.
jmes Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I agree those guys definitely put in there time, I have nothing but respect for most of those guys
Quillback Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Looks like they are going to see 4 kinds of weather for the 4 days. This should be a very interesting tournament. I hope they do a good job with the TV coverage.
Sprint21fter Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Well darn! Two good days of fishing if the lightning and thunder doesn't cancel the first day, then high skys and a cold front bringing up the rear for the final two days. Will be interesting.
crazy4fishin Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Check this out - an article about the Rock and using Bass Gold data..... http://www.bassmaster.com/gear/prespawn-areas-key-rock It will be interesting to see what is the predominate pattern when all the dust settles C4F Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker

Quillback Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 I was up the White around Big M today, lots of wrapped boats up there. I think every rocky point got fished at least twice by those guys. A lot of them going back in coves also. No idea how they were doing, but I'm sure they were catching some.
