I'll be down there for it with my wife, son, sister in law, her husband/my good fishing buddy, and their daughter. Really looking forward to it. I know it won't be as blown up as the Classic was at Grand but I think it should be a good time.

Wow! I can't believe that it took Ryan and almost 2 pages to finally mention Mike McClelland and Brian Snowden. Two locals that know this lake very well and have proven themselves on the BASS Elites, it would be hard to mention these two. Oh yeah every single fishing report and video I have seen for the last 2 weeks have said water temps are 45-51 degrees. Can you say JERKBAIT and WIGGLE WART!!!

Haters gonna hate.

You busted me out, Seth. I'm a hater. I especially hate that our society has sunken to the point that people can't simply state an opinion without being mislabeled a "hater" or worse. It's the age of tolerance, where no man shall have an independent thought or opinion, much less speak it.

Oh, and while I'm hating, I hate seeing the English language butchered for drama's sake. The upcoming Elite Series tournament is a sporting event, Seth. it's not about hate. It's about choosing to root for one (or more) competitor(s) over the others. I hope Palaniuk doesn't win. You hope my favorites don't win. To root for one is to root against the others, but it's not to hate them.

I hate rape, murder, child/spousal abuse, animal abuse, terrorism, etc. I like some fishermen more than others. Big difference.

I have a strong hunch with KVD, and not just because he is KVD. He is PO'D after his poor finish in Florida and he does well on Table Rock. And he has been known to throw a crankbait and jerkbait from time to time.

As a side note, Mark Davis is leading the AOY race right now. He's another guy I'd like to see win, but as far as AOY, he just needs to do well in this tourney.

Great to see Mark back on track. He won a BASS event on Table Rock in March 2004 throwing a Wiggle Wart. Although this one is a few weeks later, the Wart bite is just about to start so conditions are going to be similar. A big rain helped him then. Could happen again.

The wart bite is trying to get going. The blade bite in some stained water will be dynamite if they get another good rain before the tournament starts.
