rps Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I fished 11:00 to 4:00 today out of HI. I had four spots between 12 and 14 inches. Two on a wart and two on a Ned rig. I think the whole day went South when I caught a fish on the Ned rig on my first cast of the morning. It was a beautiful day and more than one boat was cleaning crappie when I came in (although they were not giants and there were not many per basket).
techo Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 You did better than us in the catching department! Tim Carpenter
Ham Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I caught a nice bass on my first cast of Day Two at Toledo Bend and had a little background anxiety building until I caught a few more fish. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Champ188 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I have but one superstition in the world and that is it. No fish on the first cast. I always make a little short pitch and reel it in fast before I start fishing and I make Donna do the same. lol

Might want to rethink that. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Sprint21fter Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Every cast has the potential for a fish and a bannana in the boat is a good snack.
