Lip angle is not vertical enough on those, would be a bear keeping them on top. Also pretty similar to the CL8 rat and the catch em Caro. Nathan Bettencourt makes a nice rat, and makes them up around Clinton.

Did pick up a few new wakers for this year. Might be warm enough for them in June.

I bet guys complaining about price don't think twice about buying bags of GY senkos, grubs, or hula grubs that only last a fish or two and are 6-8 bucks a bag now. Pretty easy to spend that just on soft baits in a couple season whereas that rat could last the rest of your fishing lifetime and catch countless numbers of fish. At least that's how I justify myself spending that kind of money on 1 bait
