dtrs5kprs Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I like to see my fellow townie McClelland in the lead. I see him on the Bella Vista lakes every year or so. But, I wonder how well he'll sleep tonight knowing, KVD, Amart and Davis are on his heels. He's been there before, as have all of those guys. Tomorrow should be interesting. Lot of guys were hurt without that wind. Thought those sacks yesterday looked like wind fish...easiest way to jump from 11# to 13#.

But these guys are better fishermen than I, so I expect they'll catch fish. The guys chasing McClelland are probably going to need to get a big one or two to make up that 4 lb. deficit, as I expect McClelland will put together a 12 lb. limit or so at least.
dtrs5kprs Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 They'll eat without wind, just not the same way. Better get the tubes and little business out. Off to pour more doctors.
Macsimus Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Is davis fishing james ? Don't know about the first 2 days but today he was in the Shell Knob area. "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."
Bill Babler Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Bill is your Phoenix white/red/black? If so were you wearing a white hat? If that was you I saw you yesterday. Not sure what area. Hoping you could tell me. I was riding in the Suzuki boat. Yep you all were in the heavy surf off of Rod and Reel Point. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Sore Thumbs Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Never been in that area. Was that north or south of the kings? Where is closest public launch etc? How's your shoulder Bill? I saw you chuncking that A-rig. Lol

Members derekburleson Posted April 6, 2014 Members Posted April 6, 2014 Mike is a good friend. My fingers are crossed for him. When Mike got back into B.A.S.S. and starting winning again ('03, 04'?) his wife Stacy called our tv station to give us a heads up about some of his wins/finishes. Ended up shooting some fishing tips with him for our Sports Final show on 40/29 in NWA and he was such a nice guy. Been rooting for him ever since. That's a helluva leaderboard chasing him.
Alex Heitman Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I'm rooting for Mike. Very nice guy and he would love to win here. Hope he pulls it out. He has been doing better everyday so he should be fine.
Sac River Jim Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Him and KDV are getting stronger while Lane and A Mart are way down from their first day bags. Mikes lead is pretty decent i think if he can put 15lbs in the boat tomorrow he will have pretty good chance. it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow with the conditions changing again. looks like theres gonna be a front pushing up from northern arkansas late tomorrow afternoon into the evening.
