dtrs5kprs Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Yes, the beetle is at the root of it. It is not new, just overlooked or forgotten. Using it as a system is a little different as well. In the fall think docks for K's, and ramp wash outs. Also as an option to the drop shot around bridge pilings. Just saying.
abkeenan Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Dave quit lying about those 18-19" fish. Ned rig only catches small fish everyone knows that. Big fibber you. Nice report by the way. Hope the weather warms up a bit and you really get after them the rest of the week.
dtrs5kprs Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Just hope they are wrong on the wind today...
Quillback Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Thanks for the report, and a nice pair of LM's!
magicwormman Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Good report Dave!! Glad you are catching a few, despite the weather. Hope you can stay long enough to really wack em.
Travis Swift Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 dave are you willing to share or pm me what mold your using for your heads? The worm nose mold only goes down to 3/32nd. How are you guys getting the 1/16th ounce poured? Right now i'm using a 1/16th ounce head with no collar and putting it in a vice and hammering it down flat like a button. I would like to maybe pour the bullet nose head but wondered how you got them that small? thanks, Travis
