Bill Babler Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Table Rock Lake, Kimberling City, Mo. Surface temps today 58.9 degree. Last two days out of Kimberling with wind gust swirling and up to 45 MPH. it was a complete disaster. This lake has chilled to what I know of as extreme levels that I can remember since 1976. Last two day we have had a total of 41 fish with 11 keeps. It is the annual early Spring derby and from what I can remember the worst derby ever. Our 20 boat tournament was won with a 2.13 pound bass caught by a client of Bill Beck. I had a 2.11. WHOO HOO>!!!!!!! We Are expecting a freeze tonight so get prepared for the pain. Last week we had temps at Shell Knob at 69 degree. This will really give them a come upentence. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I was thinking of going tomorrow, but I might just save my gas money for when it warms up again.
dtrs5kprs Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The fix is already in hand. Is that cryptic enough?

dtrs5kprs Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Yeah! I thought all this new found love of finesse Bassin was gonna end y'all's fishless days for good. Wtf? It did for me wrench. Just put the report up with pics. Finished with many, many keepers coming in my boat for the trip. Probably less than 30 fish total, all sizes on anything but the little rig. Vast majority of mine were on the PBJ, a few on various dark greens. Would have to go back and figure the number, but it would be pretty solid, plus all the bigger fish were on finesse.
BATCAB27 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Yeah! I thought all this new found love of finesse Bassin was gonna end y'all's fishless days for good. Wtf? I dropped a ned rig in the toilet last night, woke up this morning and boom...smallie swimmin around in there. Crazy
jerry241 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I feel sure there is a really tasteless joke there somewhere...... But I'm gonna let it go .....really hate to but let it go
fishinwrench Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I dropped a ned rig in the toilet last night, woke up this morning and boom...smallie swimmin around in there. Crazy Well yeah, but it took ALL NIGHT ! Pffft!
dtrs5kprs Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I dropped a ned rig in the toilet last night, woke up this morning and boom...smallie swimmin around in there. Crazy If you saw some of the places I fish, you would realize how apt that description is. Plain gravel, no contour, no cover. Just teeny tiny rocks.
