joeD Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Noooo! Just noticed. Hmm. I always say the secret to my success is a cigar in my yaphole, however,,, Hmm. Truly at a loss... Thanks Terrierman. Now my world is upside down.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Looks like he might have a chew in picture two???? Is that possible Joe? Pete
Greasy B Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 The pictures remind me how much I miss summer. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Terrierman Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 The pictures remind me how much I miss summer. You can thank January and February for that mostly. A lot of February I like. Next week reminds me why I prefer April. And May. And usually, June.
BassMaster#1 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 You sure that isn't the Huzzah as that water is super clear. Looks like you guys had better luck than us on Sunday. A buddy and I did the stretch from the spring down to scotts ford. We were thinking the warmer water would hold more smallmouth, but that wasn't the case for us. We saw a lot of rainbows and brown trout. We hooked up with 2 fat 13" largies on jerkbaits and 2 17' trout. Glad to see MDC stocking a lot more browns, but I should have went further up river or further down river as the deep holes wasn't holding many smallmouths. At least we didn't get skunked and got the first fish of the season under our belt. Nice fish
joeD Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 That section isn't bad though for smallies. They like that spring water coming in, which is actually warmer than much of the river this time of year. No chew Mr Outlet. I draw the line at smokeless tobacco (harrumph).
joeD Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Stand corrected sir! Mr 3? Nah, nevermind.
