My wife has a fair idea of what I have. Never complains when I haul it in or out our when a box of new unnecessary tackle arrives. She likes to fish and knows its my hobby. She gets her pick whenever she wants it, I outfit her and rig her gear when she wants to float or go fishing with her gal pals. Never have a complaint as long as the cash is in the bank and the honey doo'z are done.

I learned long ago that women are incapable of counting fishing rods, as long as they are all the same color. However, new splashes of color are immediately spotted and questioned.

My wife actually suggested we go fishing at Busch Wildlife last night....at the end she said you've gotten hooked on fishing and I love it! Miracles never cease!

Bring her over to my house, I will open the garage where there is the boat and 4 shelves full of tackle and rods in the rafters along with about 160 dozen goose decoys and another 20 dozen duck decoys. Then we will take her in the Spouse Cave ( cannot be called man cave ) as the wife has her hunting gear in it as well plus more fishing gear and the cupboard she swears my shells reproduce in.

I AM PERFECTLY SANE. He with the most toys wins! My grandpa told me so and he would never have lied to me.

1,920 goose decoys is a pretty good collection. Kudos

Also very true. Bought a Duckett Ghost rod to try out and should be arriving next week......that white is going to stick out like a sore thumb. I hide my stash in the furthest bowels of the basement and pray she doesn't go snooping. I'd like to think my wife does the same thing with her makeup, purses, shoes, etc. and that we are all square in the end.

abkeenan... only problem with that logic, is if you were to ask her about her purses, shoes and makeup, she'd state she was doing it for you and it's a necessity. there is no winning in this matter.
