Hazbin Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Night fishing up stream here, It's like we have a private lake from Shell Knob to Eagle Rock from Sunday through Thursday. We see very few boats after dark.
WettinLine Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I'll fire up the Jon Boat mafia and take care of biz naz
WettinLine Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Maybe the glitter boat gangsters care join in and help. I understand the part where the south tosses in the towel but I'm from the north and I don't give that easy. Come on you rebel flying southerns and steel props and gas from that marina that will help drive back the weak and weary.
WeekendWarrior Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 There's no shortage of them on LO it seems, until you want/need one. LOL I'd like to have one observe (for a day) this seaplane that takes off and lands 70+ times per week out of Coconut's. Not sure how this guy aquired his immunity but if that sucker doesn't crash this season I'll be amazed. For as much airtime as that craft is getting there is no way that it is getting the maintainance it needs. Is that the blue/white seaplane? He was at Capt. Ron's yesterday asking if anyone wanted a ride for $40
fishinwrench Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Probably. I think he targets Beaver's also. Must be in cahoots. All I know is that the "pilot" is becoming a bit too brave and comfortable with his take-offs and landings. He's gonna bite it one of these days if he doesn't cool his jets a little.
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 F&F you can't separate the fishermen from the other boats and machines on TR as far as Branson is concerned and they will howl if either is corralled. A lot of people who come to Branson bring a boat and spend money and time in town. You only have to look at places like Stockton and Hermitage and compare them to Branson and Osage Beach to see who will win out. The more pleasure boats on TR the bigger Branson got. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
inshore Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 come june 1 I usually quit fishing tr. there are other lakes without the crowds and problems. after labor day I come back and get some fine dropshotting and dock fishing. that being said no use to complain fish real early or at night.
Feathers and Fins Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Wayne you cant separate them I tried finding any data on it and its just not there. However that said it is not difficult just be simple observation to see the Wake. Jetskie boats and cruisers of unusual size ( princess bride lol ) are far outnumbered by the fishing boats, canoes, Kayaks on a year round base. What I found interesting was the pure dollars fishing generates for just a small area. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
