mixermarkb Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Just to stir, but let's say a new Direct Injected power head is $4k installed... That's a lot of fill-ups. I sometimes wonder how much we really save for "fuel economy"

Original failure was caused from an overheat (lack of maintenance). let's say a new Direct Injected power head is $4k installed... You can SAY it all ya want....but it'll be 6k before it's done right.
Old plug Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Glad you clarified that Old Plug coz I have a glitter boat with not two but THREE graphs and I use white rods. The big thing to me is color coordination, thus my silver truck to match the white/silver/gunmetal boat. I also fish in white shirts quite often so I can be in harmony with my rods. Being the social butterfly that I am, I couldn't imagine life without any of the above. Perish the thought. Champ. I have nothing against a boat or tackle. That stuff does not bother me. If they can afford it more power to them.I will be honest however and say I think a lot of it is foolish keeping up with the Jone's. What I do not like are those who act like they think they are above you. Of course that is what seems to drive our society now days anywayand it is a destructive trait. .

Nothing flies all over me faster than someone who is "too good" to even speak, especially when I expend the effort and breath to say hello. I go out of my way to be friendly to everyone, even though I'm not the most outgoing and talkative person at times. It's just common courtesy, although I'm sure we all agree that it isn't very common anymore.
Old plug Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Champ. can you imagine the kind of thing could happen to your boat up here fishing docks. Ny big alumTarga is very safe boat for up here but it has many scratches and a few dents from getting trapped between dock by wakes.
Champ188 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 You're right, Plug. My old Champion had a few scratches, a couple of which came from fishing Central Pro-Am events at LOZ.
