Hog Wally Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I'm hoping there is walleye and whites swimming up the river with this nice rise. Then tomorrow's rain will blow the river out and give us some nice deep holes Trying to be positive since the river is in bad shape for fishing.
Blazerman Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Looks like you got your wish for high water. Probably get more high water before spring ends. Amazingly, i saw four boats running upstream Sunday.
Hog Wally Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I don't know if it got high enough to gut any holes out. I didn't see any really big trees going down. I hope the whites and walleye are on their way. I guess they swim along the edges in the dead water. Nonetheless I am glad it's up and nasty cause it makes me go other places far off. Today I went to James river. It was phenomenal fishing. Seth 1
jbooth24 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Is the James still up and what part of the river did you fish
Blazerman Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Yeah saw your pics Aaron. That was some amazing fishing. Hope you have some really big freezers between all your deer and now those spoonbill.
Hog Wally Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 It's 50 degrees and sorta fish able. Whites should be piling up on their usual gravel riffles.
Hog Wally Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Too high to fish. Unless your really bored. Cold rain dropped temps to 50 ish. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Hog Wally Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 The wart bite is on boys!! 53 degrees but getting warmer fast. Fish stacked together In tight bundles. No walleye though. Daryk Campbell Sr, Smallieguy87 and Seth 3
