I'm just having fun rps. I have my crazy preferences too. The bait you love works no doubt. I own a couple, but I see no need to repaint or swap out hooks or feathers.

I agree! I did it because i could and wanted something - different. BTW, in a face wind, the# $%#@%# bait throws like a potato chip.

I put Gamakatsu EWG trebles on every new lure I buy. Even a Lucky Craft. Most hooks are just not sticky enough

It always throws like a knuckleball and it can as difficult to control on the retrieve as a drunk, angry girlfriend.

Really? Lucky Craft has some super sticky hooks. I see no need to change them out.

You're probably right, I'm just a little anal about hooks, that's my own fault

Those lucky craft hooks are weak, I bend or break them all the time.
