ColdWaterFshr Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Nephew caught one that big on the Current river a couple months ago. I've seen lots of crawdads, but never one that big. A small lobster for sure.
Tim Smith Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 I collected a devil crayfish (Cambarus diogenes) that was 71 cm (2.8 inches) from the tip of the rostrum to the back edge of the cephalothorax. That was the biggest one on record in Illinois at that time as recorded by the Natural History Survey. I think yours is substantially bigger.
Big Brown Trout Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Capps Creek are full of them that big. Not sure why either, but I have seen some that would equal that one. noted for November, thanks Ollie Let the summer of Carp, begin.
