laker67 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Do they stock any springfield ponds with urbana trout? How about boliver, branson, marshfield, or lebanon?
fishinwrench Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 No. Are there even any public ponds in boliver, branson, marshfield, or lebanon? I think they should put some up in Moniteau co. for the Amish folks.

snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Rick!!?? You can't help yourself can you? Let those urban trout alone. Pete
laker67 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Well I am thinking Pete, why does springfield not have a winter program? It is as large or larger than sedalia. Not sure how big Jackson or mexico is, but I am guessing no larger than the others I mentioned. Where do you draw the line for fair distribution?

They are clueless when it comes to offering fishing opportunities.

This is sad, if we are going to support this then a more widespread distribution should occur. Last time I looked, it was just about as far to meramec from stlouis as it is from springfield. Scales looked tipped towards the east and the north.
