Fish24/7 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 when I hear the word quaratine I think of "isolation to prevent the spread of something bad" did they really say "quarantined" for 30 days? wonder if they are planning on releaseing them somewhere other than TR? Like maybe in a Bass Pro tank
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 they had a truck with 2 holding tanks with oxygen tanks strapped to them. there were no dead fish weighed-in.
Champ188 Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Why? Because 30 days from now, no one will remember where they came from or that they belong in Table Rock. That's my guess anyway.
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I don't know, I didn't ask for specifics
Champ188 Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Responsibility is on Central Pro-Am, not you, Sox. Thanks for the info, though.
J-Doc Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Because 30 days from now, no one will remember where they came from or that they belong in Table Rock. That's my guess anyway. Oh give them a chance. Maybe they want the fish for observation purposes or to ensure they do not return fish that turn up dead. Recovery time. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Champ188 Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 I'll believe it when I see a vid or pics of the fish being returned to TR.
Bill Babler Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I really wonder about the legality of that. If one person is in control of those fish, would not that put he or she over the limit. and is it legal to retain these fish. If they did indeed keep the fish would that not be commercial fishing as they did pay the participants? This smells like fish abit to me. Wonder what MDC thinks of this, it would be very interesting to know the logistics and the legality of a tournament sponsor, keeping the entire last day catch. Hmmmm! http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Jerry Rapp Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 come on guys. Twelve guys, 60 fish total maximum. Who cares. How many sub legals were "poached" off docks this weekend and fried up over the weekend? The legal limit of keepers is 5 per person. If MDC thinks it needs to be lowered, they will do it. CPAA brings a lot of money into the lake area. Most of the anglers burn at least 20 gallons of gas a day, and buy their boats and vehicles locally. And you are worried about 60 fish max? Hell, the night crawler guys gut hook that many in an hour probably. Perspective is needed.
