Hey QB,

For me, minimum flow equals 1/32 oz mostly with 1/16 oz in deeper holes or higher flow areas. I use 1/16 oz when I get water > 1000 CFS to around 2000 CFS. I'll use 1/8 oz as often as I can get away with it. I can usually get away with it when the water is > 2000 CFS, but the trout will quickly tell you what they do or do not want.

IF you KNOW you're on fish and are not getting the bites you expect, try a different color or size jig.

I carry more colors than are really needed. Get yourself 3-5 colors. in equal numbers of 1/16 and 1/8 oz. Just a guess, but I expect water btw 1000-5000 CFS.

Come on down Pete. We'll find room for you in somebody's boat.

This weather sucks, but isn't any indicator of what weather we'll have by then.

You bet, this is what this is all about!! I"m with ya on the 40's. But I'm game with anything at this point!

I'm ok with whatever temps we get, but the wind needs to be < 15 MPH for the jig fishing to shine. There's lots of ways to catch a few fish and I'll adapt if need be, but I'm going to stay hopeful.

I'm going to be a game time decision unfortunately. Have a case that's heating up and may be taking depositions in Dallas right around that time. We'll see.
