I got mine today as well thank you wrench. Five star transaction. Much smaller than I thought, gonna have to target minnows for a while. :-)

Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me)

...yeah, I just buy "hooks" couldn't tell you a size. Same with weights (sinkers), just buy a few sizes to have a variety. Where I usually get to fish, you can't see anything the waters are so murky. I just use a rig that I believe will be sufficient for the fish that I know are usually there. I taught myself how to fish without any mentor. I am now trying to learn how to catch something other than catfish and bluegill.

This is just an FYI, & not a complaint.

I have tried flatening the barb using several methods and in each the hook shank snapped at the bend. Tried small flat nose pliers, the jaws of a tying vise, same result each time. Haven't tried knocking it off with a dermal.

Boy they sure do! Sorry. No need to dig out the dremel though, just heat it up a bit with a cig lighter and the barb will squeeze down nicely (not TOO much though).

Most of the temper seems to be in the bend/point area. I couldn't get the shaft to break.

I still have 4 boxes of these dang things....Well one box is 6 short NOW thanks to YOU ! :D
