I know it's self serving, but my wife has a business called Mrs. B's handmade soaps. She has a cracked hand and foot repair salve that works wonders ,http://mrsbsoap.com/products/cracked-foot-hand-repair-salve

as well as what she calls hard lotion bars. It's a small bar in a tin, you pop it out, rub it on your hands, pop it back in the tin. Works wonders on dry skin. Her lip balms are really great as well. I know it's a commercial, but I'm proud of her. She really has spent hours working out the science behind her products and they work well.

it will be a great day to catch them. i would like to be out there too, but need to get some work done.

donna. i have been trying to remember the exact name of the hand cream that will mend up those hand. there is one that is called something crack cream, but there is another one that one of the local chicken grower supply stores sells, and everyone tells me it is the one to get. i think chane might remember, and i will try to get the name from him. i have a couple of fishing buddies that use it and swear by it.

the fishing will be great even if the catching is not, just because of all the eagles that are out. enjoy the day. i am sure that champ will because if he is like me, any day that i get to go fishing with my wife is a great one.

bo

Thanks, Bo. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and we are each other's favorite fishing buddy. :) We did see several magnificent eagles; a big bald eagle and an immature or golden eagle.

Now for the rest of the story. Stayed in the Kings and fished from Sweetwater to Viola. Windy bluffs and bluff ends, main lake points. Didn't find much going on further back in the pockets. At times we were sitting in 40-50 fow throwing to the bluff or point but just as likely to be in 15 fow with deeper water close by. Didn't find much interest in wood today. Most fish came on a variety of jerk baits with several on a FB jig on those same bluffs. Had two on a Ned rig. Caught our first fish at 10:00 a.m. and had a limit by 11:30 a.m. Tried spooning some we found in front of a deep dock, but that just ain't our gig. I lose interest in it quickly.

It snowed, sleeted and rained, but only a little bit and for short periods. However, we were pretty comfortable temperature-wise.

Gotta run. Finishing up the goodies for our Christmas visit with Champ's folks and the kitchen is a wreck. lol We had planned on our own personal Christmas Eve "service" at home. We ended up listening to Pastor Jack Graham's TV broadcast instead. It was inspiring. I love Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all our OA friends.

I would just add that I'm really grateful for all the friendships made here on the forum. Appreciate you folks putting up with my pigheadedness. Glad we are all able to help each other learn more about this fabulous sport. Merry Christmas and may each of you have a blessed 2015.

Great report!!! I give you both lots of credit to brave the elements yesterday. It looks like today will be better with temps near 50 and the wind out of the South.

Thank you Donna for sharing your recipe for the hand cream. I'm always looking for something new for my eczema as all products seem to help for a short period of time. It's like it gets immune to anything I have tried. Merry Christmas to everyone and a Blessed New Year!
