call me crazy but I like to fish them on 1/8 jika rigs. 3/0 hook thin wire will come through about any thing. like to reel them and drop to bottom. something about bouncing bottom lot of fish like.

Only the Hybrid Soft and colored line is on sale. Not just the regular Hybrid in clear. It's good stuff. Very limp, very strong and holds a knot a lot better than other smaller diameter line I've tried. I've thought about trying P-Line but just haven't gotten around to it.

The "soft" I do not recommend. The green color is excellent in TR, rather similar to the Maxima green.

Ya I heard that the "Soft" version of YoZuri Hybrid is no good. I haven't tried it. I'll just stick to the regular.

On another note I heard that guys didn't like the Power Pro Slick because is was "too soft" as well. I guess limpness is not always good. What did I just type? lol.

"I honestly thing the GYCB 4 inch grub is the best at getting bitten, but the dang things are so impossibily flimsy, but I will never buy another one"

Has anyone tried the elaztech grubs? seems like the stuff is indestructible and would hold up much better than the GY grubs.

I fished them last season and wasn't overly impressed. The tail didn't kick nearly as much as the GYCB. I had to reel a pinch faster to get some good action from them; on identical jigheads I was throwing GYCB grubs on.

-

The bags of élan tech grubs I had seemed like the tails were a bit too rigid. After not getting bit on them, I switched back to the GYCB and peaked some interest of fish again.

Maybe I just had a couple crappy bags; so hopefully dtrs has better luck with them.

They redesigned them for this year. Think gycb.
