I might show up to heckle Mitch, too. Wanna see if he's as unflappable in this situation as he is running ridiculous spots in his jet boat. :) :) :)

Seriously, though, Mitch knows what he's talking about when it comes to winter fishing, as does Steve. And you won't find a better guy to fish with. Hamra taught us well. Attending this will be well worth your time.

That's in my neighborhood! Will put it on the calendar. Train wreck for a brew and a Redbird later maybe?

cool I hope to meet you Seth.....hopefully you won't punch me in the face for my fat mouth on this forum in the past :slow:

LOL...no worries about that! I now understand why I caught some grief during some of those forum discussions. I'll admit that I was a bit ignorant on some of the stuff, but you live and you learn! I look forward to meeting you, Mitch and the other smallmouth crazies. :goodjob:

It's a small city in the good part of Central St. Louis County..Take the Brentwood exit North off of I-44, or take the Brentwood Exit South of I-64 and it will take you there in short order.

This was a great meeting and Mitch gave a really nice presentation. I truly believe if he decided to get serious about making tackle for a living, he could. His craws and jig heads are amazing.

it was nice to meet some of the guys from this site as well.

I agree with you on both counts.....Mitch loves to modify and create.....I love talking with him about it.

I had a great time, having the meeting where there is a bar is a big + in my book. I had fun meeting Seth, he is one cool butt kid. I have tons of respect for young guys that have the passion and desire for fishing like Seth does.....I'm also jealous as hell of his jet. I will have one a soon as I sell my other boat. I talked with Al Agnew and what a pleasure that was.... he is simply a fountain river fishing knowledge just over flowing with info that I find fascinating.

Mitch makes some sweet jigheads....I have tossed one up in the air over my desk and it landed straight up 334 times in a row....this jighead will balance and hold your bait/skirt in the right position every time.

His craws if you ever have fished them are about as close as you can get to fishing a live craw with it's true 3d body and balanced position, it's movement happens in all the right places to make it look truly realistic. They are badass.

Good time! Nice to meet Seth & Blazer chat with Bigs, Al, and many others. Folks new to me, and folks known, all river bass fanatics! That's a good thing! Mitch gave a good talk. You always learn a few things from him. Steve had some impressive hair jigs. Great tier! Will be ripping off a few of his designs.
