Agreed, the head end is consistently my better producer even though the tail end looks better.

It shows up when I look through fish pics. Better fish usually have the stubby end stuck in them. That is really how I noticed it at first.

OK, OK! I am going to give this a try. But this is the last bait I buy and not catch fish. Even if I find pre-Rapala warts, custom painted by Virgil Ward after eating hallucinogenic mushrooms for two bucks each I ain't buying them.

The full size will rock a big shakey head. It will stand up on a 1/4 or 3/8 FB head. Won't get bit as often. I use it as a big bite bait, or change of pace to the little rig.

Yep. Sorry to say, but pearl might be the least effective. No clue as to why. You can chuck it onto banks full of shad and zero.
